Wedding photograph guide

Wedding photo albums may not have changed much over the years but newer methods of displaying them are being invented all the time. Probably the same etiquette that dictated how the bride's mother was shown in the album will be used today so you can expect to see her as the first photo in her wedding dress. This is followed by images of them in (usually) wonderful surroundings, again like their parents.

The official wedding party comes next in the wedding photo album to show them at their best on a very special day, usually in a setting akin to that of the bride and groom. The party is normally close friends and relations that play an active part during the ceremony like the father of the bride, the best man, page boys and bridesmaids. The bride should then, by tradition, have some pictures taken of her and her attendants for the day.

After these shots are taken it will be the turn of the bride and her family, then the groom posing with his family. Mention must be made to modern wedding photo albums which are as equally decorated as those of the past with elaborate covers and beautifully laid presentation pages inside. Wedding photo albums will normally be in white with traditional decoration in the form of wedding bells and horseshoes; usually embossed to enhance the appearance further.

The design will probably be white with silver or gold as these are traditional wedding colors for an album and the pictures will be arranged artistically for maximum viewing pleasure. Almost all wedding photographers will also provide a service so that all the photos can be burnt onto a computer disc for permanent storage and display on a Television or computer monitor. Many hundreds of images can now be stored on a cd rom which makes it simple to carry around and display on a TV screen with little chance of damage.

The real beauty of this digital revolution is how easy it is for everyone to enjoy every image of the day on a disc that is in effect a digital wedding photo album which can be stored indefinitely. It is just as easy then for guests to look at the photos at their own leisure and have copies of their favorite shots printed off whenever they wish. Unlike many new technologies, this one has a definite advantage over the old as the images can even be printed at home and viewed on a home computer.
